Masahiro Setagawa has never much liked fictional heroes since in his experience there’s never anyone around to help you when you really need it. A perception that begins to change after meeting the “Bear Killer” Kousuke Ooshiba, who after a chance encounter decides to take Masahiro in under his protection. Meanwhile, Masahiro’s friend Kensuke has to contend with the sudden reappearance of an old friend whom he parted with on bad terms.
