Souten no Ken -REGENESIS-

Although Lu-Ying is safe and the Red Flower Gang has been defeated, World War II is on the horizon and the Japanese army is making moves to wipe out gang activity by employing martial artists of their own. Worse, the German army is in Shanghai as well looking to secure the List of Hope which Guise had intended to use in the creation of a sanctuary city.

An action series threaded with various types of comic relief. Though a sequel to Souten no Ken, the storyline here is almost entirely self-contained with little relation to previous events.

Mizore Yoroizuka has quietly followed Nozomi Kasaki for years, never quite able to take that last step and fully express how she feels. It’s on one morning just like any other that Nozomi relates the story of ‘Liz and the Blue Bird’… hinting that it just may have some parallels to their relationship.

A stand-alone side story, taking place after the main Hibike! Euphonium series, focused on longing. It alternates between a conventional art style and one resembling a watercolor storybook for Liz’s segments.

For these past seven years Leon Lau has been researching ways to fight back against the onslaught of hyper-evolved creatures, and with the successful activation of a hyperdrive engine he may have finally found the answer.

A mixed-genre series weighted heavily toward action.

After being unable to save Kurisu, Rintarou decides to abandon time travel and live a normal life despite the threat of an impending third world war. A choice sorely tested after encountering an advanced AI based on Kurisu’s research and past memories, an AI which reminds him of everything he had tried so hard to forget.

This is an alternative conclusion to Steins;Gate, continuing from where the β version of its 23rd episode left off. It’s intended to be watched after that and features a similar genre composition weighted more heavily toward drama.

After a group of five cutting-edge androids equipped with quantum computing devices break out of a research facility, some of them proceed to cause general mayhem in the city while one attaches herself to Arato Endou as a combination of bodyguard and domestic servant. As it turns out Arato is somehow related to her creation, and her appearance entangles him in the often violent intrigues surrounding these ‘Lacia-class’ humanoid interface devices.

An action-drama with a secondary focus on romance and general human vs. machine theme.

Able to see ayakashi since she was a child, Aoi Tsubaki was abandoned by her mother and taken in by her grandfather. Many years later, on the day of his death, a strange Oni appears and transports her to a special inn located within the spirit realm. Her grandfather owed him a debt, and he expects Aoi to fulfill it by becoming his bride… a proposal she rejects in favor of working as a cook instead.

A cooking-themed slice of life series with a central romance plotline, periodic action-focused dramatic outbursts, and light comic relief.

FULLMETAL PANIC!: Invisible Victory

After once again thwarting Amalgam’s schemes Sousuke and Chidori have returned to their everyday student life. This peace is short-lived, as Leonard Testarossa soon re-appears with a warning: Amalgam is through playing, and no longer has any restrictions on using direct and overwhelming force to achieve their goals.

An action-drama with thriller elements which picks up shortly after the events of The Second Raid. It requires familiarity with the first series at the very least in order to comfortably follow the developments.
