Finally reached the end of the web novel recommendation chain (having skipped any stories that were either on hiatus or recently started).
- A really well-paced immortal protagonist story that leans into that immortality while deftly balancing its comedic and dramatic aspects. If you’re looking for something featuring leveling mechanics you may end up disappointed though, as while they are present here they’re very much a tertiary focus.
- A story by the same author as the above, this shares a number of similarities. Unfortunately it’s quite a bit less polished, practically overflowing with deus ex machina, and feels overly scripted. The only thing this has that the previous story doesn’t do better is a fairly detailed System implementation.
- The initiating events are incredibly forced. Incredibly forced and somewhat rushed as well.
