Having foiled another of Don Paolo’s schemes, Professor Layton and his assistant Luke reminisce about one of their first adventures together. The time where after having been invited to the opera by one of his former students, they ended up embroiled in a game of life and death related to the lost kingdom of Ambrosia.
A drama-infused mystery with minor comic relief elements and an action-heavy conclusion. Though it begins sometime after the franchise‘s second game, it can be watched as a stand-alone since the majority is a flashback prequel to the first.
