This was my first character and remains my ‘main’ one. The only character I’ve completed every available quest for at least once (including relic weapons/tools, tribal, and special mount ones). Obvious exceptions being the class quests for the classes I didn’t pick up. Also only character to actively collect Triple Triad cards.

Ophrys Korrin

Colors: Celeste Green, Pure White, Bone White, Ice Blue, Ruby Red, Coral Pink, Salmon Pink

My second character and arguably my favorite to play. The only character that’s caught legendary fish, and only one I’m willing to buy old event clothes for through the online store.

Alicia Lesrekta

Colors: Lilac Purple, Regal Purple, Pastel Purple, Lavender Purple, Abyssal Blue, Iris Purple

This third character started out focused on tanks and only tanks, but I ended up gravitating to the Dragoon playstyle and so now mainly focus that. Only character to have cleared the Lord of Verminion challenges.

Keira Nzrath

My seventh character was started mainly due to the introduction of a new North American data center. While theoretically a primary character, I may end up treating it like a tertiary one apart from daily Frontlines matches (which currently require temporarily transferring to one of the other NA DCs).

The fourth character was originally created to see how the European servers did things. Turns out there really wasn’t any notable differences.

Michaela Sylphene

Colors: Morbol Green, Turquoise Blue, Peacock Blue, Dark Green, Turquoise Green

This fifth one was an afterthought, just made to cover all the English data centers. Was so lazy I limited glamour choices to class sets and lvl 1 equipment. That said, this is the only character who’s completed the Sightseeing log.

Auroura Borealis

Main Class: Summoner

Colors: Gloom Purple, Sunset Orange, Slate Grey, Blood Red

It took some time, but eventually I caved and made my sixth character on a DC with a ‘poor’ connection. Turns out the lag isn’t all that noticeable. Maybe a lost second here or there, which mainly means IMMEDIATELY having to run out of telegraphed attacks. A much bigger problem is that people apparently stop playing by around 8pm (local time), there’s only a brief 1 hour window for daily Frontlines (at about 2-3pm local time), and Alliance Raid roulette is chronically dead.

Only notable gimmicks are that I’m exclusively using the Immortal Flames allied seal casting chest glamour and focusing on Hunt-related achievements.

Myra Nylfyr

PvP Class: Machinist
Colors: Gunmetal Black, Corpse Blue, Ceruleum Blue, Goobbue Grey, Metallic Silver

My eighth and most recent character. After the relative success of the Oceania excursion I figured I’d finally see what all the fuss was about regarding the JP servers. Well, for this one at least there isn’t really much different. Alliance Roulette seems a bit more focused (and no one uses Alliance chat), Frontlines seems a bit heavier with aspiring MIDI synthwave artists, and tanks in dungeons seem less likely to make big pulls. As long as you don’t mind the relative chat silence, Elemental is pretty much indistinguishable from the English DCs.

Nestra Amirka

Other Classes: Black Mage, Astrologian, Samurai, Gunbreaker
PvP Class: Astrologian
Colors: Lime Green, Lotus Pink, Pumpkin Orange, Colibri Pink, Storm Blue, Rolanberry Red

Ninth character, made mostly just because I saw Zeromus was a preferred world and jumped on it. The mechanical theme is Spell/Skill Speed and ‘damage over time’, while for visual theme I think I’m going to go with elements; fire for AST, Lightning for BLM and GNB, and wind for Bard and Samurai.
