Though having returned to space after saving the world decades earlier, Ultraman did not leave the planet undefended: An Ultraman Factor was left behind in the body of Shin Hayata, the human who fought with him against the giant monsters attacking Earth, to be passed down through his descendants in case another alien menace ever appeared. That time has arrived, and it now falls to his son Shinjirou to don the Ultraman mantle.
An action series with a moderate level of drama and minor comic relief elements toward the end. While it’s a sequel to the first Ultraman TV series, no familiarity with the franchise is required to watch it.
